What are good videos for a beginning beauty guru to make?

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

I’m 14 years old. The problem is, I have no high-end makeup yet. Just drugstore brands. Will anyone even want to watch me if I don’t have a thousand MAC products like all the other gurus?

What are good starting videos for my fashion & beauty channel? Also, are there any filming tips you can give me?

Where can I find good hair and beauty tips for black women?

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

I love changing my hair and makeup often. I also attend lots of social functions and I’m starting to run out of ideas! Would love any suggestions on websites that give some GOOD beauty and fashion tips for black women. Looking for nice trendy stuff, nothing old fashion.

Thanks!

What would you call a beauty school that teaches everything?

Is there a kind of beauty school that teaches everything like: hair, nails, makeup, etc or do they not have those anymore? My mom went to beauty school when she was younger and they taught her all of that.

At what age does a woman's beauty start to fade and does she become dependent on makeup to keep looking good?

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

I know girls start wearing makeup from a very early age these days but they do so for reasons other than fading beauty. In a lot of cases they do this to make up beauty that never really existed in the first place. But some girls are naturally beautiful. However, no matter how beautiful you are eventually your looks start to fade. So the question is this: at what age do nature’s gifts start to fade and artificial aids become necessary for women to sustain a level of beauty that they previously had without the aid of any makeup.
